How to use the flashing tape waterproof? 1. Remove any silicone, loose caulk, or flaky coatings of non-silicone materials. If these coatings are firmly bonded, you can apply the tape over them. 2. Clean the area thoroughly with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying. 3. Unroll 2-3 feet of stretch tape at a time. Peel off the plastic release film from the corners in small amounts. Slowly pull back the plastic release film and gently apply the tape. Do not stretch. 4. After applying, press the tape with your fingertips or a roller to smooth it out and ensure it makes good contact. Do not touch it for 24 hours. If it is difficult to remove, it can be removed more easily with a knife dipped in water or gasoline. Does stretch tape stick to concrete? Works on a variety of surfaces: Unlike some products that only stick to a small range of surfaces, Stretch Tape is designed to work on almost any surface.
