This 1500 mm long aluminium flat bar made from EN AW-6060 T66 AlMgSi0.5 is particularly suitable for functional constructions in trade shows, railings and mechanical engineering. It offers a solid combination of stability, dimensional accuracy and good editability - ideal for projects where longer profiles are needed without bumping. Whether as a support element in frame constructions, as reinforcement in workshop facilities or as a guide rail in production plants - the 1500 mm version allows the construction of continuous structures without compromising on accuracy of fit and handling. Thanks to the anodizable and corrosion-resistant surface, the material is also suitable for temporary outdoor use or decorative applications. The length can be easily shortened or adjusted with standard tools, allowing flexible use in small batches or individual production.
Manufactured in the extrusion process according to DIN EN 573-3 and 755-1/-2/-8, the flat bar has a smooth, untreated surface (raw) and meets the requirements of many technical applications in its material properties. The material EN AW-6060 T66 is known for its good corrosion resistance, medium strength and easy deformability. The cutting edges are not deburred, making the product ideal for further processing such as milling, grinding, drilling or anodising. The length tolerance is ±3 mm, which ensures uniform cutting with high dimensional accuracy. Due to the non-magnetic properties of the aluminium, the material can also be used in electronics, fixture construction or measurement installations without causing electromagnetic interference.
The 1500 mm length is specially designed for applications where 1000 mm is no longer sufficient and 2000 mm is too bulky.
