Our elegant squirrel feeder in grey is not only functional, but also a real eye-catcher that visually enhances any garden. At the same time, the house impresses with its sophisticated construction and extreme weather resistance, making it the ideal choice for any weather. The smooth and sturdy folding roof can be easily opened and closed by the squirrels. Unlike wooden roofs, which absorb water in wet and cold weather conditions and therefore become heavier, our PETG roof remains lightweight and easy to use. A heavy wooden roof can be a challenge for squirrels to open the feeder, especially in winter - with our design, the roof is always easy to open. When closed, the roof fits securely into a specially incorporated groove that prevents the ingress of rainwater that runs down the rear wall. Side grooves under the roof provide further protection against moisture, keeping the food dry and fresh. The feeding space is raised and separated from the outside by a laser-cut acrylic plate. This plate also runs in a groove, with side openings to drain rainwater. In addition, the acrylic plate is equipped with a rounded, animal-friendly pad made of white 3D printed PETG, so that the squirrels can bend comfortably and safely to the feeding area - without sharp edges or corners that could pose risk of injury. The entire tread area is finished with a textured, rough surface that gives the animals a secure grip. Since PETG does not absorb moisture, unlike wood, the feeder remains dry even in the cold season and reliably protects the food from mould attack. Numerous ventilation holes in the bottom of the feeding room ensure a constant supply of fresh air, which keeps the food optimally ventilated and fresh. With dimensions of 21.5 cm length, 23 cm height and 15 cm width, this feeder fits harmoniously into any garden and offers the squirrels a safe, dry and comfortable feeding place. Included are the fully assembled house and two matching stainless steel Phillips screws so it can be hung immediately after unpacking.
