To ensure that the framed pictures get a three-dimensional depth, the shadow joint picture frames in interior format are approx. 10-20 mm larger than the stretcher frame. This creates a joint of 5-10 mm around the stretcher frame on each side, the so-called shadow joint.
- Format – How to choose correctly: The stated formats refer to the stretcher frames for which this frame is made. The actual size (inner format) is approx. 10-20 mm larger to get the shadow effect. Example: If you have a stretcher frame with the outer format 70 x 100 cm, then the format of the shadow joint frame would also be indicated as 70 x 100 cm, but the frame would then have an inner dimension of approx. 72 x 102 cm.
- Details: profile thickness of approx. 36 x 36 mm (side height x width). The wood is largely free from branches and resin galls and represents a solid dimensionally stable base for your artwork. It is completely untreated and can be refined as desired or simply used.
- Mounting and suspension: two freely mountable suspension are included. Screws for attaching the stretcher frame with the shadow joint frame can be individually selected depending on the stretcher frame thickness and format. Screws are therefore not included. We recommend pre-drilling the holes in the frame in the case of direct screwing.

Tracking & Notifications
Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. Order Changes & Cancellations

Shipping Cost for Returns

We may provide a return shipping label for your return. If the return is due to our error, such as receiving the wrong item, a damaged item, or a defective product, we will cover the return shipping cost.
If the return is due to the customer’s reason, such as ordering the wrong item, changing your mind, or no longer needing the item, the original shipping fee and the return label fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if shipped independently.
