- The sealing tape B01 120/70 is intended for sealing all component joints between wall and floor, connections to vertical surfaces or on horizontal surfaces in the wall and floor area under tiles.
- The product is recommended for sealing movement joints (peripheral expansion joints, connection joints, maintenance joints) on horizontal and vertical surfaces as well as on their connections outdoors and indoors with high temporary or constant stress due to water and moisture. The sealing tape B01 120/70 is compatible with all liquid polymer and polymer cement sealants from LEVEL+. The product is not intended for component joints.
- The B01 corners are designed for sealing all inner corners between the wall and floor as well as for sealing systems in outer corners under tiles. For indoor and outdoor use, for use in rooms that are temporarily or constantly exposed to water and wet exposure.
- The surface must be firm, flat, clean, free of dust and grease as well as without old paint layers or fine elements that can negatively affect the product adhesion. In this case, prime with appropriate LEVEL+ reason. Impurities and non-load-bearing layers must be removed and supplemented with appropriate material
- First, insert sealing corners and sealing cuffs for wall and floor area. After pre-measurement, simple sealing tape sections with the overlap reserve of 40 mm for tape/corner bonding must be prepared. Apply a thin layer of the sealant to the surface, into which the sealing corners and sealing tape sections are inserted in a straight position.
- After sealing tape insert, the surface must be pressed from above with a soft roller, with spatula or trowel and reworked with sealant from above. It is important to ensure an exact bond between the respective sealing tape sections as well as between the sealing tape and the corner using the sealant. Note: The middle part of the sealing tape (approx. 20 mm) and the surface area below must not be coated with the sealant to be inserted.
- Rework the sealing tape connection with LEVEL+ sealant on both sides, at least two layers, whereby the middle part of the sealing tape (at least 20 mm) must remain unfilled. For movement joints, the LEVEL+ round line must be used with an appropriate average filling as tightly as possible. The sealing tape must be as precisely as possible against joint flanks.
