Liquid charcoal in the 15ml tube - a clean, dust-free way of painting, charcoal drawing and underpainting.
The three pigments of natural origin (PBk 8, core black) used for this purpose are created by the charring of fruit seeds from the EU territory and give the following unique charcoal nuances:
A neutral peach seed black - 18 757a warm, brownish cherry stone black - 18 756a cool, bluish grape seed black - 18 755
Due to the rapidly available larger amount of paint, the liquid coal can be used to work on large areas quickly. The liquid charcoal contains the high-quality binder gum arabic like traditional artist watercolours (gouache, watercolour paints, etc.), has a gouache-like consistency and can be diluted with water, so that different nuances, structures and layer thicknesses can be achieved by different application. Depending on the surface and layer thickness, it remains smudgeable by hand and can be removed with water.
Used as a thin undercoat (e.g. in oil painting), subsequent colours do not get dirty or less soiled due to the greater substrate adhesion of the bonded carbon pigments than with conventional carbon undercoating.
Of course, the liquid charcoal can be combined with charcoal.
