S&R Hammer Drills SDS 4plus are suitable for use in concrete, masonry and natural stone.
The maximum efficiency of the SDS 4plus hammer drills is achieved by their special design: - the special shape of the carbide plate ensures fast drilling and centering. The high-quality carbide material ensures a long service life of the hammer drill even with high operating load or work in iron armouring; - the dynamic chisel-shaped drill head penetrates the material quickly and reduces vibrations, which significantly increases drilling efficiency; -
The patented multi-helical KVS helix is symmetrically shaped over its entire length, which leads the drill dust quickly out of the borehole.
The energy transfer to the carbide plate is optimized thanks to the special core-reinforced helical geometry, which means that the drilling speed and
Tool life significantly increased; - thermal treatment and special surface compaction of the hammer drills reduce wear and tear
Drills resistant to bending stress.
In the case of a drill depth of more than 450 mm, a shorter hammer drill must be used for a length of min. 150 mm to predrilled. Then drill with a hammer drill of 450 mm length and then with a hammer drill of 600 mm or 900 mm length.
