PRODUCT DETAILS:
· This is a brand new aftermarket part in good working condition.
· This part has a 6-prongs plug with a female wire. (pic #2 & #3)
· For some models, it may need a minor modification. (to install a Resistor, pls read below & check pic #4 and the last 2 pictures)
** The original ignition has already pre-installed a Resistor inside. However, this aftermarket ignition doesn't have one, so you will have to solder an appropriate resistor (included) on the grey wire.
· Package includes: as shown in the main picture.
** PLEASE NOTE, in order to get this item to work properly, you need to install the resistor (included) in line with the Grey wire (typically Ninja models) that going to the CDI (see pic #4 & the last two). Otherwise, it may not start the engine (have no spark). This worked for most of our customers, pls seek for a professional or a mechanic if you need help. **For some cases, you may just swap the key-entry part over to the harness if you know how to do it. ** If the options above wouldn't work for you, then we suggest that you purchase the OEM part.
** On the last two pictures that was provided by one of our customers that he soldered the provided resistor in-line (anywhere) with the grey wire, and it worked well.
** We suggest that you install the resistor by a professional or a mechanic, return will NOT be accepted if the item is damaged by installing the resistor.
