- Side-directed CO2 - The unique diving design of the diving mask directs the exhaled air sideways to ear level. The vents are located on both sides of the frame near the temples and are slightly tilted downwards so that air flow is directed away from the face. So you avoid the dangerous phenomenon of pendulum breathing that often occurs with other full masks of this type.
