WINDOW AC SUPPORT BRACKETS:
A window air conditioning unit can get a room cooled down quickly on a hot day in the summertime. Supporting a window air conditioning unit using a window air conditioner bracket is always a good idea to prevent it from falling and protect the window sill itself. Available in small and large size depending on size and weight of your AC unit.
WINDOW REQUIREMENTS:
- Window sill thickness cannot exceed 12 inches
- Window sill must be a minimum of 1 1/4 inches deep for placing base Window
- Window sill must be able to accept 2 1/2 inches long screws
- Sliding window lip or window stool cannot exceed 1 7/8 inches
- Cannot be used with slide casement or casement windows
WINDOW AC SUPPORT BRACKET INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION:
Setting up the window unit requires you to know how to install an A/C bracket. The bracket mounts on the exterior window sill. You need to select a bracket with a weight-bearing capacity appropriate for your A/C window unit.
- Find the center of the window sill and mark it.
- Small blocks come with the unit that needs to be screwed into the window sill.
- One block will be angled so the bracket can be leveled.
- After the blocks are in place, use screws in the top bracket bar.
- Next, mount the bottom bar, which has holes for a bolt to slide through.
- Screw in the bottom bar screws and slide the bolt in the best spot the unit will be level at.
- After the window ac bracket is installed, place the A/C unit on it.
Note: do not over-tighten the special english screws, as they are industrial strength. Align spacer combination and body over mounting holes reinsert blue screw, tighten evenly on both sides by screwdriver, then loosen each blue mounting screw one full turn; be certain foot pad is flatly secured against an outside wall. Please use professional.
