Mutant Mass es un producto con un contenido muy elevado en proteínas. Dosis de 260 gramos (4 cucharadas) proporcionan hasta 1 060 kcal, gracias a los carbohidratos procedentes del maíz ceroso (amilopectina), maltodextrinas y azúcares como la fructosa y la dextrosa. Cada dosis proporciona también 52 g de proteínas de diferente velocidad de absorción, rápida y lenta sumando más de un total de 10 fuentes de proteínas de alta calidad que proporcionan un alto contenido de aminoácidos ramificados.
Además de la grasa presente de forma natural en las proteínas utilizadas, se han añadido grasas procedentes del aceite de coco, estas grasas se comportan de un modo especial, los triglicéridos de cadena media (MCT´s) se absorben rápidamente y apenas son utilizados en la formación de la grasa corporal, de esta forma proporcionan energía para el mantenimiento y desarrollo muscular sin que se almacenen en el tejido adiposo. También se ha añadido CLA que contribuye a modificar la composición corporal previniendo el catabolismo muscular y reduciendo la grasa corporal.
Mutant Mass proporciona minerales como el calcio (30% de la RDA) y el hierro (80% de la RDA). Asimismo, para mejorar aún más la fórmula de Mutant Mass también se han añadido otros ingredientes como sales minerales, calostro, péptidos de glutamina o fibra.
