Thank you for using our repair products, PhixDoctor uses flexible packaging that produces 1/26th the carbon footprint of rigid containers and gives a portion of its profits to environmental groups that support clean oceans and beaches…
1. Work in the shade and ventilated area. Wear proper clothing and eye protection.
2. Sand away loose pieces to create a solid bond to the repair area.
3 Fill deep holes with a mixture of Q-Cell and resin. Mix well to create a thick, but pourable mixture and fill deep holes to within 1/8th inch from surface. Add mixture in 1/4 inch layers moving the repair to to the sun for curing then repeating if necessary until hole is properly filled.
4. If ding is over ½ inch in diameter it is recommended to cover with fiberglass patch that overlaps the ding by about an inch for the final layer. For fin repairs please refer to our website (below) for “how to” videos since they require detailed instructions.
5. In the shade apply SunPowered resin with the mix stick to the fiberglass patch saturating the fiberglass (if used) and making sure there are no air bubbles.
6 Optional Step; Apply the clear smoothy cover sheet to the wet resin and use the mix stick to smooth and contour the resin to the surrounding repair area before moving to the sun for a near perfect finish! Always dispose of unused product in a responsible way.
