Specific steps to remove the crank.
1. Loosen the crank screw with an Allen key, then screw in the black part of the bicycle crank puller, align the thread and screw it by hand. Then insert into the wrench and tighten again until it is screwed all the way down so that you do not scrape off the thread.
2. Screw in the silver part of the bicycle crank puller, the puller must be completely screwed. Then it can also be tightened again with a wrench.
3. The hole of the spanner should be carefully aligned with the puller on the silver part, then turn vigorously a few times, and the crank can be pulled out.
- How do I replace the bottom bracket?
Insert the bottom bracket puller into the crankset, then insert the square head and Allen key and loosen the old bottom bracket with leverage.
- Please note:
1. The crank arm puller tool set is used to remove 22 mm thread/square crank arms that are not suitable for Octalink cranksets.
2. This set fits all 20 teeth bottom brackets.
3. We recommend greasing the threads so that it works smoothly and easily.
4. If the crankset of the bike is tight, you can use a larger wrench than the supplied or screw a piece of tube into the wrench to achieve more leverage to loosen the crankset.
