History of Blueberries Plants
Who doesn’t love blueberries? They are sweet, juicy, and taste incredible in muffins. They are also rich in essential nutrients and antioxidants, which makes these berries one of the delicioust foods you can find.
There are many different types of blueberries plants. They are often called different names and grow all over the world. However, the fruits that are considered ‘blueberries’ in the world of commercial deals, are native to the North America. Here they grow freely and you can still find quite a few bushes producing tasty berries in the wild.
These blueberries have been an exclusively American treasure for a very long time. They only traveled to Europe in the 1930s, but today they are grown in South America, New Zealand, and Australia as well.
The US remains the main producer of blueberries in the world, and Washington is the leader among the states with over 96 million tons of berries produced there every year. Michigan and Georgia are close in their supply rates, but every state grows at least some variety of local blueberries plants, be they cultivated or ‘wild’.
Wild blueberries are smaller, but they are also sold commercially. These berries are harvested from managed, but natural growth areas of the shrubs.
The people of today can thank Frederic Coville and Elizabeth White for the blueberries plants that produce large fruits. In 1910, they started a cultivation program that encouraged everyone to grow their own variety of blueberries, and we get to enjoy its results.

Import Duties & Taxes
All import duties and taxes for goods imported into the United States are included in the product price. There are no hidden fees or additional charges at checkout.
Tracking & Notifications
Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations
If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.
