房総半島、三浦半島、伊豆諸島を中心とした太平洋に自生している日本固有のセリ科の大型多年草です。原産地は、東京都八丈島とされています。
夏は比較的涼しく、冬は暖かく、また年間の降雨量が多い八丈島の気候が特にあしたばの生育に適しています。

明日葉はフラボノイド、葉緑素、繊維質、ビタミン、ミネラルなどの栄養分をたくさん含んでいます。
その豊富さ、バランスにかけてとても優れた青汁です。
さらに明日葉には特有のカルコンと呼ばれる黄色の物質が含まれています。明日葉の茎を切ると出てくる黄色の汁を分析し、主成分はカルコン類の新しい化合物であることが分かりました。
この黄汁には、同じセリ科の植物でも見られない明日葉だけの特有成分である2種類のカルコン誘導体が含まれています。

Tracking & Notifications

Order Changes & Cancellations
