1. The preset code is “00000”.
2. Open the lock.
3. Turn the small ridged wheel with the imprint "Set" 90 degrees to the right.
4. Set your desired code.
5. Turn the wheel 90 degrees back to the left to its initial position.
6. Your own code has now been set.
