The Fat Lui from Monkey Lures has been specially developed for predatory fish fishing for pike and zander. The voluminous body in combination with the protruding shovel tail creates a strongly flanking and extremely realistic swimming action that extends to the whole bait including the head area. Even with the slowest pull, the Fat Lui runs very seductively due to its soft rubber compound.
The soft rubber compound allows for easy folding of the bait. This reduces misbites many times.
The voluminous body can withstand an enormous amount of bites until you have to change or stick it. The extra large X-eye serves as an additional stimulus and directs the bites to the head area of the bait.
The bait colours of Fat Lui have been specially selected for predatory fish in European waters and particularly appeal to pike and zander.
The biting behaviour of the predators is often dependent on the perception of the bait. To visually stimulate the predator even in different visibility conditions, Monkey Lures has provided the Fat Lui with various decorations. Water turbidity and exposure to light play a major role in the choice of colour of the bait. With clear water and good visibility conditions, it is mainly natural baits with little UV activity that optimally imitate the prey fish.
In cloudy water and poor visibility, eye-catching decorations with a lot of UV activity can be better perceived by the predators. The Fat Lui is available in many catchy decorations, from little, medium to strong UV-active, there is the right colour for every condition.
