Product Overview

  • Zigbee & light switch: this version of the Zigbee actuator can be operated with a light switch or in a cross/double switch. So you can switch your 230 V lights easily and without the Zigbee network. Retrofitting with a normal electrical installation is therefore considerably easier and possible without switching to buttons. Switching also works without Zigbee network. Dimming is not possible with the dimming actuator, unlike buttons, with the switch.
  • Compatible: works with the well-known Zigbee systems and voice controls. Important: the device is delivered without remote control/coordinator and requires additional components for operation. The Philips Hue Bridge also supports HomeKit, but not entertainment. See product description for further compatibility.
  • Without N conductor: the actuator can be used with or without zero conductor. We recommend using with zero conductor if it is available at the connection location. Without a zero conductor, the actuator draws the required current for the Zigbee network from the current flowing through the lamps permanently. With an LED power below 20 W, the LED may glow slightly. In this case, use our bypass
  • Fits in the switch box: thanks to the dimensions of 45 mm x 45 x 23 mm, the Mini Zigbee 3.0 switch actuator fits behind the switch into a deep (60 mm, no other cables and clamps) switch box, but can also be mounted in the lamp or on the ceiling.

The box contents include the actuator (switching or dimming actuator, depending on order) and a quick start guide.

Notes:

  • The switching actuator officially supports the following Zigbee centers:
    • Philips Hue Bridge (with HomeKit but without entertainment)
    • Echo with Zigbee Hub
    • IKEA Homesmart (without HomeKit)
    • Google Assistant
  • Other Zigbee centres not listed here are likely to work, but we do not guarantee this. If in doubt, please check the questions & answers or reviews before purchasing.
  • For mounting behind a light switch or socket, a deep flush-mounted box with at least 60 mm depth is required. Except for the connections required for the actuator, no other cables and terminals must be laid in the box.
  • Operation without zero conductor is optionally possible. The iluminize bypass is required for LED powers below 20 W.
  • The actuator may only be used for lighting purposes. The following switching capacities must not be exceeded:
    • 200 W for LED ballasts, electronic transformers for 12 V halogen lamps, switching power supplies and LED lamps with built-in drivers. A maximum of 2 such ballasts may be switched simultaneously.
    • 400 W at 230 V incandescent and halogen lamps.
    • Under no circumstances should toroidal transformers be controlled with the actuator.
  • The installation of the device must be carried out in Germany by an electric master company.

Notes for dimming (only dimming model):

  • Depending on the type, drivers and LED lamps can sometimes only be dimmed up to 50/60% flicker-free. This is due to technical restrictions on the respective driver and is not caused by this actuator.

Carriers

We primarily use USPS and UPS for U.S. deliveries. Items shipped from international warehouses may be handled by partner carriers depending on the country of origin.


Import Duties & Taxes

All import duties and taxes for goods imported into the United States are included in the product price. There are no hidden fees or additional charges at checkout.


Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.

Item Not Received

If your tracking number shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your package:

  1. Check with your local USPS or UPS office.
  2. Confirm that the shipping address provided was correct.

Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your package arrives damaged or fails to arrive, please contact us immediately. For deliveries to P.O. boxes, ibspot is not responsible for damage caused by weather, temperature, or theft.

Order Cancellation Policy

Customers may request to cancel an order before it has been shipped.
Once the package has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible; however, you may still request a return after receiving your order.

We accept returns for most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

How to Return an Item

Shipping Cost for Returns

If a return is sent back without prior contact or without our provided label, we cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if shipped independently.


Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.
  • Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

Please allow:

  • 5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.
  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
