How to acclimate your dog to a muzzle:
- Let your dog sniff the muzzle to show it’s not bad. Touch your dog’s nose with the muzzle. Then reward treats.
- Hold the muzzle in front of your dog’s face and put some treats inside the muzzle. Your dog will stick its nose inside the muzzle and eat treats.
-Repeat a few times until your dog feels relaxed.
-Put on the muzzle, fasten the buckle, and adjust the suitable neck circumference for your dog.
-Count slowly to five. Treat. Remove and repeat a few times.
