Changing your "SI" series alternator to a "CS" series (internally regulated, external fan) alternator is SUPER-EASY to do using this Alternator Conversion!

NOTE: Should you decide to revert back to your "SI" alternator, you can EASILY do so. Since our conversion is easily reversable, simply unplug the adapter harness and reconnect your alternator to your original wiring harness.
** In regards to the alternator's output amperage, keep in mind the factory wiring wasn’t designed to handle the amperage of a higher-output alternator. However, if you do decide to use a higher-than-original amperage alternator (typically over 90 amps), alternator manufacturers do recommend that you replace the charging wire heavier wire that is suited for the output capacity of your alternator. The ground circuit may also need to be addressed.

Order Cancellation Policy
