Titanium is corrosion resistant by saltwater and is used in the production of propeller shafts, rigging and heat exchangers in saltwater freshwater plants. Titanium is used to manufacture housings and other components for marine surveillance deployment, as well as scientific or military monitors. The Soviet Union has developed a technology that produces submarines primarily from titanium.
From the 1950s to the 1960s, the Soviet Union led to use titanium as part of the Cold War plan to use titanium on their military and submarines (Type 661 submarine, Type 705 Nuclear Submarine). Tracking & Notifications
