The cone shape is a natural and good shape for filtering things.
HARIO started out in 1921 as a manufacturer and seller of chemical products. The origins of the "V60" lie in the fact that an employee folded a triangular funnel and filter paper they had on hand into quarters to make coffee. They realized that a cone shape (a parabola where Y = X2) was a natural and good shape for filtering things, and evolved this shape to create the "V60 Transparent Dripper."
Features of the V60 Dripper
"Cone shape" for thorough extraction
This creates a deep layer of ground coffee, allowing the hot water to contact the ground coffee for a long time, allowing more of the ingredients to be extracted.
"One big hole" for free taste
The single large hole allows you to change the flavor of your coffee by changing the speed at which you pour the hot water.
"Spiral ribs" improve the efficiency of "steaming"
The ribs (bumps) create space between the paper and the dripper, allowing air to escape during steaming.

Tracking & Notifications
