Handmade hollow tree trunk with extra rough surface. Looks deceptively real, but is made from fired clay and painted professionally and naturally.
The cave has rounded edges so that the risk of injury is minimised.
Two openings each with an inner diameter of about 35mm make this great hideaway perfect for shrimp, dwarf shrimp, smaller catfish and small crabs. Crustaceans are very soft after molting. They need time until their new tank is hardened, and during this time they are extremely vulnerable and must have the opportunity to hide from their roommates and also fellow species. A significantly more stress-free life and thus more health are the result of this species-appropriate posture.
Two openings ensure optimal water circulation, making the cave a perfect breeding place. The fabric is permanently supplied with sufficient oxygen.

The natural-looking tree bark was made by us for use in the aquarium or terrarium from natural clay. The fired clay naturally has a porous surface which promotes the settlement of beneficial biofilms and pollutant-degrading bacteria.
On the one hand, this helps to achieve better water quality in your pool, on the other hand, crayfish, shrimp, suckling catfish and snails love to eat this biofilm.
The open-pored surface also makes it possible to attach mosses and ride-on plants. These can be easily tied or glued.

If you compare the outer diameter with the inner diameter, it quickly becomes clear that it is a high quality. With our handmade tree bark, we did not save with clay, because our goal was a stable and high-quality product.

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. Order Changes & Cancellations
