Instructions:
1. If your rotary tool has threaded collars at the end of the motor, you need to remove them by turning counterclockwise. You need the necklace when connecting a tool directly to the rotary tool. You don't need it with the flexible axle.
2. Hold the flexible shaft on the silver end (you can see the inner core of the shaft). And pull the inner core approx. 2 in. If you need pliers to hold it, this is normal.
3. The flexible shaft is there to transfer the rotation, that's all. It's like an extension. Slide the flexible shaft core into the rotating tool collar and tighten the collar. You can use the locking button of the collar to prevent turning when tightening the nut.
4. Now you can screw the silver adjusting end of the flexible axle into the housing of the rotating tool. Here you removed the collar.
5. The other black end of the flexible shaft is the place where you insert the desired fixing tool such as a diamond wheel or cutter. You use the L-shaped piece made of chrome for this step. There is a hole on the black side of the flexible axle. And there is still a hole under the black side. If you align these two holes by turning the silver tip on the black end, insert the L-shaped metal. The inner metal part on the black end of the shaft will want to rotate while you try to place the tool. The L shaped metal helps you hold it while trying to turn the tip.
6. Now you can attach the bit. And tighten the nut at the tip of the black end of the flexible shaft.
