The hexagonal nut with flange and locking toothing or locking tooth nut is the modified shape of the classic hex nut and belongs to the common standard mounting material. These flange nuts with ribs are also equipped with a metric internal thread. The toothing of the locking ribs on the material surface creates a simple screw locking, which makes it difficult to loosen the nut.

Due to the large contact surface, these collar nuts are often used for attaching adapter sheets. They are also suitable for carrying dynamic loads such as vibrations and shocks. Unlike the classic locking nuts, however, these nuts are reusable and allow you to fine and re-adjust screw connections at any time.

Please note that soft materials such as aluminium and other light metals could be damaged by the hard locking teeth.

Thanks to the use of high-quality stainless steel, the hex nut can be used not only in dry, but also in damp rooms and outdoors.

Tracking & Notifications
