Handling:
1. Remove the black protective layer before first use.
2. Prepare the tinder (e.g. birch bark or kienspan) and prepare further fuel material.
3. Use the straight side of the scraper to brush down firmly and quickly on the fire rod.
4. Hold the fire steel in the direction of the tinder so that the sparks fall directly into the tinder.
