The EDH-1 hygrometer plug makes the perfect sidekick for yourEDV-1100, simply plug the EDV-1100 into the EDH-1 hygrometer plug. Use theEDH-1 to set you desired RH level, the EDV-1100 removes excess moisture in theair, when your target RH level is reached, the EDH-1 will shut the EDV-1100 offtill the RH level rises higher than the level you set and it will turn itselfback on and get back to work absorbing moisture from the air.
The EDV-1100 is an electric petite dehumidifier, using Peltiertechnology, it is ideal for smaller rooms up to 1100 cubic ft. such as: a homeoffice, bathrooms, kitchens, walk in closets, RVs, boats, laundry rooms,nursery, and perfect for use in hobbies such as sausage curing and jellymaking. Simply plug the unit in, turn it on, and it quietly gets to workextracting moisture from the air and storing it in its spill-proof reservoir.Using Peltier technology (no compressor) it is a very economical way to removemoisture, using only a fan and two aluminum plates (one warm, one cool) todehumidify. The unit will draw humid air over the warm plate and heat the airup, once heated, it moves the air over the cool plate which will draw thecondensation trapping it in the removable reservoir and expelling the dry air out.
The EDV-1100 is able to absorb up to 8oz of moisture in a 24-hr.period at 80° F & 86% RH, while only using 22.5W (9V DC,2.5AMP).
