Manuka Honey and its Features
Manuka Honey is a honey harvested from the Manuka flower of the Thumbaceae family, native to New Zealand.
Manuka trees have been used as medicinal use since the ancient times. Tree sap is a foreign medicine, and indigenous Maori tribes called Manuka "Resurrection" or "Healing Tree" and leaves used as medicinal tea leaves.
Manuka Honey has the characteristics that other honey can't match. In the late 1980s, the research team of Waikato University Peter Moran, New Zealand has proven that Manuka Honey has an effect that other honey cannot have, and in 2008, the action was based on the ingredients "Methylglyoxal (MGO)".
