Mulch Anchor reduces erosion and dust as well as locks mulch in place to reduce washout. Perfect for use in landscaping areas, where you want to make it easier to blow leaves and debris off and leave your mulch in place! Not for use in pedestrian areas or where significant water flow occurs (e.g., downspouts, roof runoff). With the following coverage rates, the product will cover any of your mulch locking needs and can be easily applied using a sprayer on the following surfaces: Pea Gravel, Shredded Mulch and Pine Straw: 1/3 to 3/4 gallon per coat per 25 sq. ft.; typically two coats. 45 min. recoat time. Lower temperature increases dry time. Less product needed for light coverage to keep material in the intended area; more product needed for heavy coverage on slopes, for significant rain or to be able to blow leaves off of the material. Rubber Mulch and Pine Bark: 1/2 to 1 gallon per 25 sq. ft. per coat (2 -3 coats).
