Our kit comes with a fixing clpamp that allows you to fix the peeling machine on the operating table for better work. The adjustment range of the fixed clamp is 5-38mm. You can use the fixed clamp to fix the leather thinning tool on any desktop that does not exceed this thickness. Our leather skiving tools set comes with an instruction manual that teaches you step-by-step how to use this tool, even beginners can learn it quickly.
- ADJUSTABLE THICKNESS: There are screws on both sides of the leather skiver tool to adjust the thickness of the thinning. You can freely adjust the thickness to what you want. Leather that is well oiled and slightly soft can be thinned to about 0.5 mm.
- WIDELY USED: The leather splitter machine is vegetable leather tanned leather, chrome-tanned leather, etc. You can use this leather thining tool to cut watch straps, belts, or whatever leather you want to thin. This leather thinning tool is not suitable for leathers wider than 18cm/7 inches.
- TIPS: Softer leather can be cut thinner than harder leather, but too soft leather is not easy to operate. Leather with moderate hardness and sufficient grease is easy to operate. If you are a beginner, it is recommended that you choose leather with appropriate hardness when using it, such as vegetable-tanned leather.
