Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary "Black Henna" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if:
- you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scale
- you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair
- you have experienced a reaction to a temporary "Black henna" tattoo in the past.

Directions
Step 2. Do a strand test to determine optimal timing and results. Perms, relaxers, and previous colour can affect your results.
Step 3. Tear off the tab from the activator applicator bottle (#2), then unscrew the cap. Pierce the opening of AminoLift Lightening Cream (#1). With both hands, squeeze the entire contents of the tube (#1) completely into the bottle (#2). Close the applicator bottle and shake.
Step 3. A. All Over Application: Part your hair into 4 sections and start at the darkest part of your hair (usually the back). Make 1/2-inch parts and apply the lightening mixture to the hair, keeping mixture 1 inch away from scalp. Gently smooth the mixture through to the hair ends but avoid the root area. Apply on all sections and make sure to leave 1/3 of the lightening mixture to complete the application in the root area. Leave on for 10 minutes and check the progress by wiping a strand with a damp paper towel - if not light enough check every 10 minutes. Once you're happy with the level of lightness apply the product to the roots by applying the remaining. Make 1/2-inch parts and apply the lightening mixture to the 1-inch root area that was left uncovered - do the entire root area and gently smooth the mixture though all of your hair. Check the progress of your blonding and pay attention to evenness. Check every 10 minutes for a maximum of 60 minutes until you achieve an overall lightening from roots to ends.
Step 3. B. Root Application: Part dry hair into 4 sections and start at the darkest part of your head. Make 1/2-inch parts and apply the mixture only to new growth at the roots - make sure it's evenly covered. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes and check progress by wiping a strand with a damp paper towel. If root has not reached your desired level check every 10 minutes for a maximum of 60 minutes, until you reach the lightness desired.
Step 4. Rinse, shampoo and condition: Rinse until all of the lightening mixture is removed, shampoo and apply the CC ColourSealTM Conditioner (#3) or the Shimmer Lights Violet Toning Mask. Leave on for 2 minutes, rinse and style. Use the CC ColourSealTM Conditioner once a week after shampooing in place of your usual conditioner.
Helpful Tip: Your kit includes a bonus packet of Shimmer Lights Violet Toning Mask! Use immediately after you have lightened for a cool natural tone or 1-2 weeks after lightening to prevent any unwanted brassy tones.
