CAL FLO Liquid Limestone is a specifically microsized suspension that maximizes the efficiency of pH adjustment in numerous types of applications. Uses include hydroseeding, nursery/container crops, greenhouses, sod farming, landscaping, golf courses, and fish ponds.
For a wide variety of soil treatments, 2.5 to 5 gallons per acre has proven to be the accepted application rate. Typically, a soil pH in the low 6 range will use 2.5 gallons per acre, while a pH below 6 may require 5 gallons per acre. Instant pH increases can be expected after a soil treatment and pH buffering should last for up to 3 months. CAL FLO Liquid Limestone enhances the pH of the soil germination zone to improve the quality of the planting.
For fish ponds, CAL FLO Liquid Limestone improves both hardness and alkalinity for game fish pond maintenance and for fish hatcheries. CAL~FLO Liquid Limestone treats the water rather than the sediment as seen with larger particles of dry limestone. CAL~FLO is easy to handle from a boat or shore line instead of cumbersome limestone bags. Simply dilute in water and either spray across pond from shore or disperse from the rear of a moving boat.
CAL~FLO Liquid Limestone works well with a variety of spray equipment including: commercial sprayers, irrigation systems, boom sprayers, back pack sprayers, and even household sprayers. In storage, no monthly container inversion is required, as seen in competitor products. Also, limited content shaking is needed, since the suspension particles are so fine.
