Our natural coconut substrate source tabs provide an optimal basis for your cuttings and sowing. The pots can be used directly with the young plant.
The thin fleece coat is biodegradable and does not disturb the plants in their further growth. Even when pricking, our coconut fibre source tabs offer advantages, as they are easy to break after removing the jacket and the delicate roots take less damage when singling. Simply pour water over the tabs. After a maximum of 2 minutes, they are fully swollen and ready to use.
Other advantages: coconut pressings are light and economical. Coconut fibres store water and nutrients well and release them evenly. Coconut soil does not compact.
The loose structure allows a lot of oxygen to pass through and this stimulates root growth - less common root rot than conventional potting soil. Technical details of the individual pellets:
