These discs are HUGE and come with a screw on hub for easy attachment. Black Hawk Hubbed XL Flap Discs are manufactured for durability and high efficiency stock removal throughout the heaviest grinding jobs on the hardest materials. The production of these discs start with Heavy Duty X-Weight sanding flaps, which are then coated with top quality zirconia grains, resin over resin bonded for superior grain retention, and finished off with a proprietary grinding aid which prevents loading and reduces friction heat. However, grinding aid, premium zirconia grains and high end polyester sanding flaps alone are not what make these flap discs Jumbo. What makes Hubbed Black Hawk Extra Large Flap Discs jumbo is that they boast 50% more cloth than a standard flap disc! These are some High Density, thick flap discs! Additionally, these flap discs feature metal 5/8”-11 threaded hub attachment to the high strength fiberglass backing , making attaching and detaching this flap disc to an angle grinder a breeze. The combination of high quality of grains, increased thickness and less loading due to the grinding agent produces the longest lasting flap disc possible and will allow you to keep working without starting and stopping.
