Product Description LED BRAKE LIGHT PLUG & PLAY WITH INTEGRATED TURN SIGNALS
These lights are approved for the functions "position light" and "brake light" for the light colors "clear" and "tinted" with "E-marking" on the lens.
No modifications are required during installation, simple adjustment.
Functionalities of the rear light with integrated turn signals Plug&Play by AVDB :
Aesthetically, the new lights remain unchanged compared to the previous version. They have exactly the same shapes and fasteners as the original lights, so that they can be mounted in place without any changes.
The night light is red, as is the brake light, which has a stronger light, and the turn signals light up orange on each half of the light.
An installation manual (in your language) is supplied.
The innovation lies in the connections: With this new version, it's goodbye to Velcro, welds, dominoes, sparks, and headaches to find the right wire... Our new Plug-and-Play lights are equipped with special connectors that are identical in all points to your original connectors! This applies to both the light and the turn signals! So, you just have to disconnect the connectors of your turn signals and your original light, then plug in the connectors of our light and you're done!
The problem of blinking frequency is known when you install LED turn signals. Since they consume less energy than your original bulbs, it's possible that their blinking frequency is too high. But we've thought of everything, in case that happens: We supply a pair of 10 Ohm / 10 W resistors with each light. So, if after connecting the built-in turn signals, the light flashes very quickly (or even stays on), you just have to connect the resistors. The resistors absorb the excess current supplied to the turn signals to slow down and regulate the blinking frequency. And here, NO modifications are required to the connections! There are connectors to connect them easily between the light and the connections of the individual turn signals.
If we don't offer this model without integrated turn signals, you have the option not to connect the two connectors provided for the turn signals, in order to keep only the position light and brake light functions, by plugging in only the connector provided for this purpose. The integrated turn signal function is supplied, but optional, so it's up to you to connect it or not!
If you want to connect the turn signals integrated into the rear light, but are afraid that they are less visible than separate turn signals, then you have the possibility, with a small modification of the connection, to couple the integrated turn signals with your original turn signals or other, more discreet turn signals. Combining the turn signals of the light with your existing turn signals is possible and increases your visibility!
If you want to remove your fender liner to make the rear of your motorcycle sleeker, and therefore remove the original turn signals and keep only the turn signals of the light, you can use only the "integrated turn signals" function. This is done without any modification of the installation and is tolerated, but of course, this will never be approved, as with all brake lights with integrated turn signals on the market, due to the distance between the two turn signals.
