ASA filament for 3D printers ASA is an excellent alternative to ABS.

The material has been specially developed to be weather-resistant as an alternative to ABS. ASA is filament for 3D printers that is strong, rigid and relatively easy to print. The material is also very resistant to chemical influences and heat. ASA also has a lower deformation than ABS, but the material should not get too cold during printing.

  • Excellent adhesion to heat beds, Kapton, BuildTak, glass, etc.
  • Lower shrinkage when cooling compared to ABS
  • Perfect adhesion of the layers.

  • The difficulty level of 3D printing is slightly higher than PLA or PET-G.
  • In general, simple 3D printing compared to ABS.
  • When printing, hazardous fumes may occur as ASA contains styrene

The material is characterised by a high adhesion (adhesion) to the surface. It is therefore suitable to use Kores Stick glue or hairspray as a separator.
Larger 3D parts should be printed in a closed box to ensure slower cooling of the 3D part. This prevents rapid shrinkage and possible tearing of the layers.

  • The recommended temperatures apply to nozzle diameters of 0.4 mm and a printing speed of approx. 60 mm/s.
  • For higher print speeds, the temperature must be increased accordingly.
  • With a nozzle diameter of 0.6 mm and more, the temperature must be increased so that the plastic can melt in time

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.
  • Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

Please allow:

  • 5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.
  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
