  • The preparation inhibits, among other things, the adhesion and clumping of blood platelets (thrombocytes) and thus prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombi) (platelet aggregation inhibition).
  • It is applied
    • in unstable angina pectoris (heart pain due to impaired blood flow in the coronary arteries) - as part of standard therapy.
    • in acute myocardial infarction - as part of standard therapy.
    • to prevent a further heart attack after the first heart attack (for reinfarction prophylaxis).
    • after operations or other interventions on arterial blood vessels (after arterial vascular surgical or interventional procedures, e.g. after aortocoronary vein bypass [ACVB], percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty [PTCA]).
    • for the prevention of temporary reduced blood flow to the brain (TIA: transient ischemic attacks) and cerebral infarctions after precursor stages (e.g. temporary paralysis of the face or arm muscles or temporary loss of vision) have occurred.
  • A notice:
    • The preparation is not intended for the treatment of pain conditions.
      Contraindication
    • The medicine must not be taken
      • if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, salicylates or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
      • if you have had asthma attacks or other hypersensitive (allergic) reactions to certain medicines for pain, fever or inflammation (salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) in the past
      • for acute stomach and intestinal ulcers
      • in case of pathologically increased bleeding tendency (hemorrhagic diathesis)
      • in liver and kidney failure
      • in cases of severe heart muscle weakness (heart failure) that cannot be controlled by medication
      • if you are taking 15 mg or more of methotrexate per week
      • in the last 3 months of pregnancy at a dosage of more than 150 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day.

        Dosage
         
      • Always take this medicine exactly as directed or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

        • Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
          • In case of unstable angina pectoris (heart pain due to impaired blood flow in the coronary arteries):
            • A daily dose of 1 tablet (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
          • In case of acute heart attack:
            • A daily dose of 1 tablet (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
          • To prevent a second heart attack after the first heart attack (reinfarction prophylaxis):
            • A daily dose of 3 tablets (equivalent to 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
          • After operations or other interventions on arterial blood vessels (after arterial vascular surgical or interventional procedures; e.g. after ACVB; with PTCA):
            • A daily dose of 1 tablet (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
            • The most favorable time to start treatment after aortocoronary vein bypass (ACVB) appears to be 24 hours after surgery.
          • For the prevention of temporary cerebral infarction (TIA) and cerebral infarctions after precursor stages have occurred:
            • A daily dose of 1 tablet (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.

      • Duration of treatment
        • The medicine is intended for long-term use. The duration of use is determined by the treating physician.

      •  

      • If you have taken more than you should
        • Dizziness and ringing in the ears can be signs of serious poisoning, especially in children and elderly patients.
        • If you suspect an overdose, please notify your doctor immediately.
        • Depending on the severity of an overdose/poisoning, the doctor can decide on the necessary measures.

      •  

      • If you forget to take it
        • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Continue taking as directed in the dosage instructions or as directed by your doctor.

      •  

      • If you stop taking
        • Please do not interrupt or stop treatment without first discussing it with your doctor.

      •

Carriers

We primarily use USPS and UPS for U.S. deliveries. Items shipped from international warehouses may be handled by partner carriers depending on the country of origin.

Import Duties & Taxes

All import duties and taxes for goods imported into the United States are included in the product price. There are no hidden fees or additional charges at checkout.

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.

Order Cancellation Policy

Customers may request to cancel an order before it has been shipped.
Once the package has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible; however, you may still request a return after receiving your order.

How to Return an Item

Shipping Cost for Returns

If a return is sent back without prior contact or without our provided label, we cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if shipped independently.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.
  • Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

Please allow:

  • 5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.
  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
