Widely Used: For aluminum, aluminum alloy, and aluminum-magnesium alloy resistance. How to use: Step 1: Use physical cleaning to polish the surface. Step 2: Heating the surface of the base material, until the temperature of the base material to the operating temperature of 716°F-752°F, so you can rely on the base metal heat transfer welding wire to form welds. Do not use flames to burn the stainless steel rod. Only when the surface temperature of the base metal is sufficient, is the steel rod flow and penetrate well into the metal capillary. Step 3: When repairing thin aluminum, as long as the base metal is heated to the appropriate working temperature, and then use the wire back and forth friction melting to form a weld. Pay attention to details during the operation A few things to consider when using them: make sure your base metal is clean, sand any oxidation off where you're trying to braze. don't get impatient it needs to be very hot to flow properly, it also won't flow right if you get it too hot depending on metal thickness a propane/map torch might not be enough you may need an oxy/map torch to get it hot enough once you get it up to temp don't turn the flame off just move it slightly out of your work path so it's still putting heat into the piece. Aluminum cools off very fast if you take the heat away it'll get below its brazing temperature before it has a chance to flow properly. don't put the stick/rod in the flame itself apply it like you would solder. make sure the temperature of the base material reaches 752°F.
