How to remove the old shower adhesive hooks?
1. Use a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive. Hold the hairdryer about 6 inches away from the hook and move it back and forth to evenly distribute the heat. Heating softens the adhesive and makes it easier to remove.
2. Once the adhesive is heated, try pulling the hook off again. If it still doesn't come off, use a plastic card or putty knife to carefully pry the hook away from the surface. Be gentle to avoid damaging the wall or surface.
3. If there is leftover adhesive residue, you can use rubbing alcohol or an adhesive remover to clean it off. Apply a small amount to a cloth and gently rub the residue until it dissolves.
4. Finally, wipe the area clean with a damp cloth to remove any remaining adhesive or residue. Allow the surface to dry before applying a new hook or any other adhesive product.
