Warm Tip:
1.When you first receive the CO Alarm, check the working status of the CO detector: after installing the batteries, the unit will automatically turn on and when you press the “Test” button, the unit will sound an alarm for a few seconds to indicate that it is working and then the LCD display will remain blank. The green LED will flash every 60 seconds or so to indicate that the unit is working properly.
2. Clean the CO detector regularly on a weekly basis, either with a soft bristle brush or a vacuum cleaner.
3. It is highly recommended that the product be mounted on a ceiling or wall to ensure that carbon monoxide entering the inlet contacts the sensor successfully.
4. The CO detector is equipped with an alarm threshold, only when the concentration of carbon monoxide reaches a certain alarm value, the detector will trigger the alarm.
5. Since grease and dust can block the inlet and thus prevent carbon monoxide from entering the detector, if the detector is installed in a kitchen or garage, we strongly recommend installing it away from cooking areas or dusty areas.
